NH Advocacy Day
The Alzheimer's Association will be hosting our annual Advocacy Day in New Hampshire on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.until 2:30 p.m.!
Here in New Hampshire we are working to ensure that the state continues prioritizing Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia as a public health issue. Our legislative subcommittee focusing on Alzheimer’s and dementia is doing incredible work, and a statewide public awareness campaign has begun rolling out to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, brain health, and the importance of an early diagnosis.
But our work isn’t done. We need to stay connected with our elected officials and raise our voices in support of legislation to increase funding for respite services to support family caregivers, ensure access to biomarker testing which is critical to early diagnosis, and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia with our EMS personnel across the state.
We will be at the State House advocating for these policy changes, while also raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in New Hampshire and meeting with elected officials on March 12!
